
Our grade 3 students are doing an excellent job preparing for EQAO. Thank you parents for assisting and encouraging your child to complete their weekly EQAO Practise Booklets and return them each Friday so we can correct them together.
In Language Arts, we are completing our narrative stories and looking forward to our poetry unit. Enjoy some time with your child reading everything from limericks to free verse! Here is one to get you started:

Math: We are completing our time unit and will be starting our unit on money. We will be learning about coins and their value, adding and subtracting money amounts, word problems and making change from $10.
Science: This week we continue our study of plants. We will start our learning about the various parts of a plant.
