Thank you for your support with regard to helping your child prepare as best as possible for the provincial testing in May. The first booklet went home on Friday, March 27th. Please remind your child to return booklet #1 by Thursday, April 2 so we can take up & review before the weekend. A new homework package will be sent home Thursday.
Language: We will be working our narrative stories this week and will use book creator for our final copy. April is also Poetry month - we will be reading and writing different forms of poetry all month!
Mathematics: We will begin our unit on fractions this week. It is a short unit so we will finish it by Thursday. After that we will begin to learn about telling time. Gr. 3 students must know time to the hour/minute/second. Terms like quarter hour, half hour, half past, quarter past and quarter to, will all be a part of our learning.

Science: We have finished our unit on forces. Our next Science unit will be about plants.
